Favorite Household Cleaners

Out of dishwasher detergent and rinse aid?

If out of dishwasher detergent, use 1/2 tablespoon of washing soda, 1/2 tablespoon of borax, 1/4 tablespoon kosher salt and 1/8 teaspoon of citric acid for each load. For a rinse aid, use either lemon juice or white vinegar in the dishwasher’s rinse dispenser.
