Fresh Herb Salad Dressings

I love walking out to my garden and picking fresh lettuce for a spring salad and whipping up a fresh dressing to accompany it.

Here are three of my favorite salad dressing.

The first recipe is a ranch dressing made with fresh herbs and milk instead of mayo.

Buttermilk Ranch Dressing with Fresh Herbs

½ cup of milk
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon olive oil

1 cup sour cream

1 teaspoon fresh chopped chives
1 teaspoon fresh chopped parsley
1 teaspoon chopped dill weed
1 teaspoon finely minced garlic
1 teaspoon finely minced onion
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/8 teaspoon salt

Whisk together in a bowl. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.

My second favorite recipe is great to make when fresh herbs aren’t on hand. It can be found on the All Recipes’ website by the following link:

My third favorite recipe is quick and easy.

BBQ Mayo Salad Dressing

1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup barbecue sauce

Whisk together in a bowl and serve.

I hope this inspires you to eat more salads this summer!
