Almond Oatmeal Cookies

Do you need to add more oats to your diet? If you do, make sure to try these yummy cookies.

1 1/2 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon molasses
1/4 cup coconut oil
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/4 cup water
1 egg
3 cups Old Fashioned Oats
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon almond extract
1/4 cup coconut
1/4 cup sliced almonds
Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Beat sugar, molasses, softened butter, coconut oil, water, egg and almond extract until creamy. Combine flour, baking soda, salt, oats, almonds, and coconut together and then add to wet mixture; mixing well. Drop by rounded teaspoons on to lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake 12 to 14 minutes or until light golden brown. Let stand 1 minute before removing to racks to cool.
