Lankford Wright was married to Louise Eliza Brown.* They were the parents of our great-great-grandfather George Washington Wright  and eight other children:**

2- EMILY C. WRIGHT, b. 1850, Louisiana.

3- LIDDY IRENE WRIGHT, b. November 24, 1852, Louisiana; d. February 1938, Louisiana.

4-  GEORGE WASHINGTON WRIGHT, b. May 02, 1853, Franklin Parish, La.; d. February 13, 1938, Catahoula Parish, La.- burial Catahoula Parish, Louisiana, Heard Cemetery.***

5- MARSHALL LAFAYETTE WRIGHT, b. July 1856, Louisiana.

6- ELIZABETH J. WRIGHT, b. 1858, Louisiana.

7- RICHARD M. WRIGHT, b. 1860, Louisiana.

8- OSCAR “E.O.” WRIGHT, b. April 11, 1862; d. April 08, 1937.***
