Dee and Dick Bass – On This Date in 1998

On this date the 16th of May in 1998, our maternal grandmother, Lucy Dee Wright LaPrarie  married Carey S. Bass  at Pisgah Baptist Church in Manifest, Louisiana.

Papa Dick, as we called him, was our Granny’s beau when they were younger. They rekindled their romance in their late eighties.
