Jane Deborah and William Burris – On This Date in 1877

On this date the 4th of August in 1877, our paternal great-great grandparents, William Henry Burris and Jane Deborah Garner were married in Barry County, Missouri. They had 10 children together.*

Interesting tidbits:

William and Jane were first cousins and when William was around 15 years old and Jane about 20, they had their first child, Charles Burris in 1871 out of wedlock.*
