Martha Fannie Wright – On This Date in 1920

On this date the 15th of September in 1920, our maternal great-great grandmother, Fannie Wright passed away. She is buried in Heard Cemetery, Manifest, Catahoula Parish, Louisiana, USA.**

Martha FannieEubanks was married to George Washington Wright and they had 7 children including our great grandfather John E Wright.*

According to the 1860 and 1870 Census, Fannie’s family moved from Eastern Division, Pike, Alabama near Indian Creek, Alabama after her father passed away. They settled in Catahoula Parish where at age 24 she married George when he was 19 years of age. It’s interesting that she was 5 years older than him.***
