To know wisdom and instruction,
To perceive the words of understanding,
To receive the instruction of wisdom,
Justice, judgment, and equity;
To give prudence to the simple,
To the young man knowledge and discretion—
A wise man will hear and increase learning,
And a man of understanding will attain wise counsel,
To understand a proverb and an enigma,
The words of the wise and their riddles.
Proverbs 1:2-6 NKJV
I’ve felt that Christ has slowed me down this past year. I’ve been able to digest His Word in Proverbs and read numerous books on wise stewardship. This slow feasting has produced a new creative project for me.

In closing, I’d like to share a prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your wonderful blessings. You send me special reminders daily of Your love and presence. Forgive me for allowing day to day tasks and selfish motives to distract me from spending time with You in prayer and in Your Word. You, Lord picked this muddled girl up and guided her into stability. You are the reason I get out of bed in the morning with hope in my heart. You ever so lightly brighten the path of my future, while prompting me to turn away from the dark places of my past. With You all things become new. I can humbly approach You only because of the atonement covering of Your Son,Jesus Christ. You are my Redeemer. Thank you for inviting me into Your family, Amen.
