On this date the 8th of March in 1957, John Estel Wright, our maternal great grandfather passed away. He was married to Gracie Claudia Pierce and they had nine children including our Granny Lucy Dee.

He is buried next to his wife in Heard Cemetery in Manifest, Catahoula Parish, Louisiana.*
